How I Spent My Morning

Jo sent me this photo labeled "How I Spent My Morning" along with this inspiring story of her parents.

I'm really enjoying your book. It's so well done and is giving me and my parents lots to talk about. My parents are in their late seventies. Several years ago they moved across the country to a community with great services for seniors. I spent two weeks with them this summer and had the best time. They are in amazing shape...truly stronger and more energetic than last year. And I've been saying this every year for the past four years. I attribute this to Mom's good gardening and nutrition program for both of them, a great social life, and their twice weekly fitness classes. The fitness aspect is huge. The classes are beautifully put together with music, yoga, posture and balance, strengthening, cardio and brain-gym. I love taking the classes myself and get a challenging work-out each time. My folks have been at this for years now with the same excellent fitness teacher. Watching them these past years proves to me that we can "anti-age".
